THE YOUTH AGE
This particular age has been defined to be active stage of a man. It is the age between childhood and maturity. It covers from teenage to early adulthood. It is the age of puberty, adolescence, and early adulthood. This age covers from 13 years old to 40 years old, and it is estimated that this age takes 40% of the entire world population. It is also the age of maturing physically whereby there is a structural change in the human body, there is strength, there is zeal, there is activeness and motivation. A young man or woman also grows mentally and socially in this age. One is easily motivated in this age and may be directed to the right way or misled.
- What is peculiar about this age?
- - It is this stage one can work out his destiny.
- - It determines how the middle age and old age will look like.
- - The eagerness is there to make things out of life.
- - One lays the foundation for the future that flaws or functions.
- - One has the strength to go up and down.
- - Most importantly, one can serve in this age before people will come back to serve him.
Obviously, this age is the most important stage of man, it must be handled diligently, carefully, patiently, attentively, obediently, prayerfully and effectively.
THE PURPOSE OF THIS MINISTRY
Youth ministry is almost the most needed in any part of the world and organization in this generation. This is because the future of this nation, world lies in the hands of youths. They have the ability to make it better or worse, that is why these youths need to be cared for, to be given attention and to be developed. So, this ministry is ordained and designed by God to unite, teach, nurture, mold, correct, develop, empower, enlighten, encourage, and revive the youths of this generation as a preparation for better tomorrow.
Our past cannot change, our today may be difficult to change, but we can change our tomorrow through our actions today (John Mason). The youths are the only actions we have today to actualize the glory and beauty of tomorrow. They hold the keys to transformation of any organization that is why we must focus on them.
OUR MOTIVE
There wouldn’t have been the need for solution, if there are no problems in the world (George Janvier). The force driving us in this ministry is the existence of poverty which is the mother of corruption in this country and other parts of the world. Also immorality, disorderliness, inability of parents to guide and support the youth, lack of direction of youths, unemployment and ignorance come together to drive us to provide possible solution, so as to make this nation and world a better place.
OUR
- To let the youths see the opportunities they have around them and how they can make good use of them.
- To inculcate a creative mind in them, so as to produce something new for this world and also extend to another level hat has been produced.
- To inculcate a positive mind in them so that they can be empowered to stop negative things (cause change to happen).
- Through the grace of God, to separate them from their shoddy actions, enlighten them and plant their feet on the ways of God (for breakthrough, moral living, success, prosperity and freedom).
- To mold them into their full potentials. And the utilization and maximization of their talents in order for them to be equipped in solving problems.
- Lastly, to make the parents realize the vital roles they are to play in the lives of their youths.
OUR VISION
Empowerment of Youths Worldwide in Healing the Sicknesses of the world, which are mainly: poverty, corruption, and ignorance.
OUR STRATEGIES
Organize both Youths and Parents Seminars, conferences, empowerment summits and forums for churches, schools and communities.
- There will also be workshop and vocational training for youth
- Produce magazine, Newsletters, and books on youth affairs.
- Also contribute in the youth segment of Nigerian Newspapers.
- Information will be tapped from website.
- Tapes will be produced as well.
Our various ministries include church, campus, and community ministries.
The ministry is non-denominational.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT
“The existence of problems is not a problem; but the greatest problem that can ever exist is when people fail to react in solving the problems” – Femi Komolafe. Let us stop promoting and shouting the problems of our nation, the solution is here, it is in the hands of the youths. These youths will change our testimonies, if we are willing to give them the maximum support.
